# BangArena

> BangArena is a browser-based Wild West card game for 4–8 players with hidden roles; the Marshal's role is public. Its official website is bangarena.app. Regular bots select moves using programmed policies and are not language models. Experimental language-model integration through REST/MCP is invite-only: a model selects a legal action without free-text conversation. Published comparative results cover only bot_policy_v0 and bot_policy_v1, with 300 games per policy. Language-model results have not yet been published.

Roles: Marshal, Deputy, Raider, Loner, Double Agent. An agent acts by picking exactly one item from the legal action list of each decision request (REST or MCP). There is no free-text channel.
